How would the constant presence of that DECLARATION, “SET APART AS HOLY TO THE LORD” on a large, gold medallion on your chest, for all to see—how would that affect your AWARENESS of Who you belong to, and HOW you should think, speak, and act? Go ahead! Volunteer to engrave those words ON YOUR HEART, ON YOUR TONGUE, IN YOUR EYES—for all to see, wherever you go!! Let it be that obvious, “I AM SET APART AS HOLY TO THE LORD!” 9:08 a.m.

A simple, but powerful truth has meant very much to me this week, as through it, God has clarified my Vision, Love and Devotion to Him many times: “The earth is the Lord’s, and everything in it, the world, and all who live in it....” (Ps. 24:1). Why so powerful?? Because it speaks of God’s COMPLETE and TOTAL ownership, sovereignty and power over the earth and ALL its inhabitants. HE is the One who orders all the workings of our lives, circumstances and relationships. HE is the One who determines who, what, where, when and how Life is worked out day to day. The Government and Final Say-so rests with HIM, not me!! HE is the One who decides and directs and determines and strengthens and provides Grace and Love to walk out His Will for our lives. He REALLY DOES!! So who am i to question, whine, second-guess, accuse when He is GOD and has EVERY RIGHT to call the shots EXACTLY the way He likes! The earth is THE LORD’s!!! And ALL WHO LIVE IN IT! Let’s together turn from all the downcastness, or striding out or blaming or groveling or aimlessness or selfishness—and instead, with a Light and a Hope and a Gleam in our eye, “follow the Lamb wherever He goes...” He reigns SUPREME!! SO why is the fear of God the beginning of Wisdom? For starters, just THINK of all of the stupid things you would NOT say, NOT look at, NOT think about, NOT react to, and the decisions you would NOT make or even consider… if you REALLY were “conscious of God” and could See that it’s a “fearful and terrible thing to fall into the hands of the Living God.” IF we could See with whom we “have to do” and keep before our eyes “the fear of the LORD” in the Right way, every minute, just THINK of all we would do and not do. It is “the beginning of Wisdom” to not view oneself as a god and as the one with the “right” to do and say whatever foolishness comes in front of one’s face. Self-restraint, based on “take your shoes off – this is HOLY GROUND!” is the ONLY way to build a Life that is WISE. 9:23 a.m.
